Welcome to the official website & blog for the community of Playa Esterillos, Costa Rica, established to share stories about living the Pura Vida and information about community events, fund raisers, meetings, etc.
Known as a super friendly & laid back beach town, Esterillos is located on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica and comprises of four large, beautiful beaches; Esterillos Oeste (west), Esterillos Centro (Center), Esterillos Este (east) and Playa Bejuco. We’re only 20 minutes southeast of well known Playa Jaco and 40 minutes from Manuel Antonio, one of Costa Rica’s most popular national parks.
