Hello Everybody,

I wanted to let you know about this exciting Film Festival that will be taking place at El Vago in Esterillos Oeste every Wednesday night starting this Wednesday, January 5th (through until February 23rd).

The Film Festival is presented by the Forerunner Project (check out their website at www.theforerunnerproject.com) and is sponsored by Twilight DVD Rentals and El Vago.

The documentary films center around the theme of IDEAS, IDEALS AND CHANGE.

We will be releasing several thousands of little turtles just born which MINAE will bring to us on TUES, NOV. 2 AT 6PM, we will be doing this throughout the night.  It is important to wear black or very dark clothing and bring a flash light, we will provide the red papers and rubber band for the flash light so that the turtles will not follow the lights.  Also bring some kind of donation for MINAE, they need to continually purchase globes to those of us who are going to let the turtles go on the beach, they need materials for the hatcheries and other materials pertinent to the help of the tortugas, this year more than doble the amount of turtles from last year will be given the opportunity to survive at sea.

There is an awful video circulating Earth about how Costa Ricans steal the eggs, it is a video of the Community of Osteonal, very organized who protect the turtles, just like we are doing, bring camera or video so that we can send around Earth to let people know CR are not killing the turtles, we protect them.  MINAE has been releasing them now for about 2 weeks and will continue to do so thru Nov, there are thousands of eggs ready to pop, if you can help them at their Turtle Protection Reserve in Punta Mala, you may do so thru November, let Cody Bishko know and he will contact MINAE.
