Local Surf Board Lessons, Rentals and Tours

We have been teaching people to surf in Costa Rica for over seven years & everyone surfs on their first lesson. 100%. This is because we have the right equipment, and teach in the right conditions for any beginner. We generally have good waves all year long here, and there are plenty of  beach breaks, peeling reefs, long river mouth breaks and sandbars to explore.

Costa Rica is safer and closer than many other tropical destinations and our water is warm year round, no wetsuit required.

Our surf tours will take you to secluded secret point breaks, boat trips to some killer reefs and points, and my favorite, and if conditions are right there is a wave that we surf which breaks for hundreds of yards.  The key is knowing when and where to go.  You can waste a lot of valuable surf time checking spots that only work at certain tides, swell angle, etc.

We have quality rental boards, and offer surf taxi service in the Esterillos area. Our goal is to get you into the water and surfing as much as possible in the best waves without stressing about where to go, when to go, etc., so all you will have to think about is your next wave….

We encourage you to inquire about conditions when planning your next trip. We know what conditions will most likely be at any given time of year, plus tides, rainfall etc.

Rentals- $25 delivered to the beach

Tours- $35 pp

Lessons- $50 “Everyone gets up.” A great way to start out surfing, or just improve.  We always keep it safe and comfortable for everyone.  Surf for fun, surf forever.
