The Community Yard Sale has been set for Sunday, November 8th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Jimmy’s yard (just below Super Sol). Anyone who wants to sell stuff should confirm space with Yolanda or Karen. You need to bring your own table, staff your own booth, and help clean …up at the end. Plus, please pass on the word to everyone!Come on out and get rid of that stuff that you haven’t used for the last year or more!!!! it will be a fun day and the more the merrier.

Last year a recycling program was started, but did not last. I don’t know why, but the program was discontinued before my scheduled day of volunteer work.  We need to take it upon ourselves to start the recycling program again.  I am sure most of the locals will volunteer to work a Thursday morning every couple months. The program last year was located in the AYA building next to the school.  If anyone has any contacts or knows who to talk to at the municipality, let me know.  Does anyone know why the program was discontinued last year?
